Your Cellar Raid — BYO Night at Bar Que Sera

Some bottles deserve more than a quiet night at home.

Join us for BYO night at Bar Que Sera — a relaxed, communal dinner built around great food, great wine and the perfect excuse to finally open something special from the cellar.

Bring the bottle you’ve been saving (or just the one you’ve been looking forward to drinking), and Chef Mitch will take care of the rest with a four-course menu designed to reward adventurous pairings and generous pours.

On the menu:

  • Local fish crudo, avocado, cucumber & pickled jalapeño (gf)
    Wine - fresh, bright and saline-driven. Reach for a young Hunter Semillon, dry German Riesling or crisp Albariño.

  • Marinated beetroot, Byron Bay stracciatella, fig & hazelnut (gf)
    Wine - creamy, earthy and textural — the perfect excuse to grab the best Chardonnay in the cellar.

  • Confit lamb rump, caponata & whipped ricotta (gf)
    Roast pumpkin, pepita praline & labne(gf)
    Time to break out the big reds — think young McLaren Vale Shiraz or something beautifully evolved like aged Barolo.

  • Sheep yoghurt panna cotta, rhubarb compote & sherry caramel
    A little sweetness to finish — Moscato d’Asti or a cold-climate late harvest would be right at home.

This is communal dining done the BQS way — relaxed, generous and social, with wines being poured, stories being shared and probably a few new favourites discovered around the table.
